PRE-SCHOOLS

Our Pre-school program taps in to young children's innate desire to explore, investigate and learn. See your pre-schoolers imagine, create and explore whole new worlds with oversize LEGO® bricks designed to fit perfectly in small hands. We believe that playing is the best way to learn for pre-schoolers and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is the ultimate LEGO classroom.

SEASONS WORKSHOP

Help your young students learn about the seasons the hands-on way. In this workshop students will build and share what they know about the current season; leading to a discussion on changes in weather and important seasonal activities and events.

SPINNING TOPS WORKSHOP

In this exciting 30 minute workshop students build LEGO spinning tops, collect data on whose spinning top spins the longest, while also learning about the forces that affect their tops performance.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers hands-on learning across the curriculum, including science, mathematics, language arts, technology, and engineering design, while building and reinforcing Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving.Our centers facilitate learning through interactive experiences to promote deeper engagement with the subject matter.

SPIN THE GEARS WORKSHOP

Gears, gears, gears! In this workshop students will build a series of models and experiment with gears exploring the difference between drive vs. driven gears, clockwise vs. counter clockwise, and discovering the concepts of effort and force.

What a Great Experience!

In this workshop students will recount an experience they had, literally building their characters, setting, and plot using LEGO elements. They will also write about their experience using their model as a visual referencing tool and share their story with others.

Merry-Go-Round Workshop

This workshop provides a fun, hand-on way to get students excited about engineering, design, and mathematics. Students build a LEGO merry-go-round to explore gear ratios then experiment with gear trains to see which combination enables their ride to spin the fastest.

CataPult

Students will put their critical thinking skills to the test using physics principals by learning basic physics lessons in force, effort, pivot, and load while gathering knowledge of the lever system.
